　ゴールデンウィーク特集上映
アップリンクＸにて５月ロードショー公開する『ガーダ／パレスチナの詩』は、ジャーナリスト、古居みずえが単身パレスチナに渡り、一人の女性ガーダを
12年間記録し、500時間に及ぶ映像を106分に編集した渾身のドキュメンタリーです。これは女性の視点から女性を描く唯一とも言えるパレスチナのドキュメントでもあり、現在殆ど報道されていないパレスチナの過酷な現状を映像を通してより多くの一般人に伝えることが出来る作品でもあります。
今回『ガーダ／パレスチナの詩』を上映する前に、パレスチナをテーマに作られた映画を通してパレスチナの情勢を伝えようと、作品を集めました。
これまでに自主上映会や映画祭等に出品され、好評を博したものの単一での上映会がほとんどで、まとめて皆様がご覧になる機会は殆どございませんでしたパレスチナの映画を今回一挙に７作品集め、特集致します。
また、期間中、『ガーダ　パレスチナの詩』の監督、古居みずえ氏を迎え彼女が経験してきたパレスチナの情況と、映画を語る機会を設けております。

さらに、世界の映画を配給してきたアップリンクが世界の料理を提供するカフェ・レストラン・タベラ（アップリンク・ファクトリー併設）にて期間中パレスチナ料理（タベラ風シラク）をご提供致します。

2002年夏、2ヶ月に渡りパレスチナ人とイスラエル人の両監督は、1947年にパレスチナを二分するために採択した国連決議181条で描かれた境界線を「ルート181」と名付け、それにそって故郷を共に旅することを決行した。ルート181に凝縮された様々な人々の過去や現在を湛然にカメラに収めながら、パレスチナ、イスラエルのみならず、わたしたちが抱える＜国家、民族、国境、移民、差別＞等と云った問題を照射し、私達の未来を見つめる。

イスラエルの戦車とブルドーザーが、長年なじみ住んだ家を壊し、子どもの誕生を祈って植えたオリーブの林を根こそぎ倒していった。そのビデオ映像を見る一家の表情には、深い無力感と絶望が刻印されている。父は思う??1970年代に家を壊された父親といったい何が違うだろうか、と。少年は思う??もう誰も守ってくれない、自分しか頼れない、と。感情をストレートにぶつけたパレスティナ映画。

アッザ・エル・ハサンはパレスティナ紛争の中心地、ヨルダン川西岸のラマラに住む。2000年から2001年の冬にかけて政治状況が悪化する中、映画撮影スタッフを探そうとしたが、仲間たちは皆ニュース報道に忙しく誰もつかまらない。インティファーダの負傷者や事件については報道されるのに、普通の市民の日常が映像化されないのは何故だろう。まずはオシドリ夫婦の大家から撮影を始め、名前と顔の見える等身大の個人を描き始める。ところが空爆が始まると夫婦一家は疎開してしまう。では近所をブラブラしている少年たちを撮ろうか？　ところが彼らは石の投げ方を練習しているのだった…。
